Suono is Bed Stuy’s only underground vinyl HiFi bar, located below Bar Camillo. Under the direction of DJ and sound engineer Danilo Braca, the space features vintage walnut speakers, originally built in the 1960’s by his father Marcello, founder of the first ever Italian high fidelity magazine called “Suono”. After being hidden away for decades in the countryside outside of Rome, Marcello’s speakers have made their way here, painstakingly refurbished and are now the centerpiece of Suono’s meticulously crafted analog sound system. We’re open every Friday & Saturday from 9-1am, for all-vinyl sessions from some the city’s best DJs.
